Sunrooms & Patio Covers
Rooms for the garden
The family business began by building sunrooms and patio covers, and we still do: designed to suit the house, permitted, and built by the same team that installs our windows and doors.

01What we build
The work
Sunroom additions
An enclosed, glazed room added to the house, with insulated glass so it is comfortable through the year. Used as a sitting room, a studio, a place for breakfast.
Glass rooms and enclosures
Glass walls and roofs that enclose an existing patio or terrace, for a lighter structure that keeps the garden in view.
Patio covers
Solid or lattice covers that shade a terrace and extend the time you can spend outside, finished to match the house.
Questions
Often asked
Anything else is best answered in person, at the house.
Does a sunroom need a permit?
Yes. Sunrooms and enclosures need a building permit, and the requirements depend on size, design and how the room is used. We prepare the plans and pull the permit.
Which materials work best?
Vinyl and aluminum frames with insulated, low-E glass are the most common. Vinyl is low-maintenance and economical; aluminum is stronger and slimmer. We recommend based on the house and how the room will be used.
How long does it take to build?
The build itself is usually short; permitting and any custom components set most of the schedule. Your proposal gives a timeline for your project.
Consultation
Plan the room
An estimator will look at the terrace, the house and the sun, and talk through what kind of room or cover suits it.
